Schenley Park Dance

Our Executive Director, Gena Melago, headed out to Schenley Park Tent to teach a Swing Lesson for the Pittsburgh Chapter of USA Dance in conjunction with the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy.  The Parks Conservancy holds dances every Wednesday night during the summer.  Each night has a different theme, but everyone always has a lot of fun.  It was a very hot evening this past Wednesday, but there was still a great crowd that came out.  They all battled through the heat and learned quite a few Swing moves.  Miss Gena was even reunited with some of her former students from Environmental Charter School.  Dance is a great way to stay connected and meet new people.  We were very excited we were asked to be a part of this event.
